Hey, I’m Murti.

I’m a financial manager and treasurer with a proven track record of improving organizational efficiency.

Welcome to my space!

My Approach:

Collaborative

From the Office of the Governor to small startups, I’ve learned that good financial managers shouldn’t dictate an organization’s actions. When budgets need to be cut, I use the data to present a range of viable options in a form that is easy to understand. This makes it possible for teams to make difficult decisions together.

Data Driven, Mission Focused

When weighing options, most of the battle lies between gathering recent data and properly interpreting its implications. It is hard for an organization to make bad decisions when its leadership truly understands the ramifications of its current financial situation.

Testimonials

"As someone who has developed and managed municipal department budgets totaling $100M+, I have worked with Murti, and his ability to convey complex financial information to any audience is second to none. He has strong analytical, budgetary, and accounting skillsets that are well suited across sectors. All of this, coupled with his great public speaking ability, makes him a great asset for any organization he works with."

"I’ve worked with countless folks in my career, but Murti is one of those rare individuals who matches high intelligence with strong emotional intelligence. I find myself learning so much every time we interact thanks to the kindness, empathy, and patience that Murti so readily displays. Suffice it to say working with him is a real pleasure."

The Honorable Debra Gardner

Representing Virginia’s 76th House District

Virginia House of Delegates

"I spent much of my career leading efforts to phase out fossil fuels and increase clean sources of energy statewide. Opposing interests have major resources available to support their arguments. Murti has an exceptional talent for knowing exactly where the weaknesses are in the opposing interest’s financial projections, and convincing stakeholders of why the business case for alternatives is lower cost and more beneficial in the long run."

Glen Besa, JD

Former Director

Sierra Club Virginia

"I know Murti to be a person of intellect, integrity, and passion. I have been impressed by his knowledge of organizational governance and his commitment to finding solutions to fiscal disagreements that transcend politics, personalities, and other barriers to collaboration. He is an excellent problem-solver and a great communicator."
